WHYSTON
Changelog

What’s new in Whyston.

Product updates, newest first.

  1. Plans, pricing and a better first run

    • Start free with 3 full-quality decks, no card needed. Whyston Pro adds 20 decks every month, billed monthly or yearly.
    • A clear view of your plan: decks left in the header, and one billing page to upgrade, manage or cancel.
    • A short welcome flow tunes Whyston to your role, industry and the decks you build most.
    • Send feedback from the app menu: it reaches the team directly, and we reply by email.
    • New public pages: pricing, company details and our list of subprocessors.
  2. Your account, your data

    • Export all your data or delete your account yourself from Settings.
    • Forgot your password? The reset link now lets you choose a new one.
    • Every source shows when it was uploaded and how long it took to read.
  3. Spreadsheets and sources

    • Spreadsheets are read cell by cell and attached to the deck, so figures come straight from your workbook.
    • A source that went wrong can be rebuilt from scratch with one click.
    • Scenario ranges draw as a band with the central case as a line; crowded line charts label their ends.
    • Market-sizing rings render as nested bubbles with a share ledger.
  4. A stronger model and a Thinking control

    • One newer model now writes the storyline, the slides and the web research.
    • Choose how hard Whyston thinks about your storyline: Fast, Balanced or Deep.
    • The progress pill shows elapsed time while a long storyline is being written.
    • Claims drawn from spreadsheets state their basis, cases and scope.
  5. Consulting-style diagrams

    • Hub, cycle, driver tree, process flow, value chain, roadmap, swimlane and Gantt diagrams redrawn in a consistent consulting style.
    • Line and combo charts can use a smoothed line per series.
    • Uploaded sources are processed reliably in the background and recover by themselves if interrupted.
  6. Tables, cards and research

    • Consulting table styles you can switch from the inspector.
    • New band and eyebrow cards, and scenario cards with value ladders.
    • Web research is one consistent step, shown on the progress card.
    • Your deck’s Office fonts render the same on every surface.
  7. Your template, respected

    • A deck’s own palette, footer and slide furniture carry through to the generated deck.
    • Research runs only when you ask for it, and what your sources already say is kept.
